The Stitcher and The Speaker (Part Two)
(The Speaker) “I just feel so angry all of the time.”
(The Stitcher) “Good.”
(The Speaker) “What?”
(The Stitcher) “Given everything that is happening, it would be weird if you didn’t feel angry.”
(The Speaker) “But it hurts so much.”
(The Stitcher) “Anger is a powerful emotion. Anger is a catalyst for action; that pain that you feel is not from anger – it is from anger not actualised into action. When anger isn’t used, it consumes the host.”
(The Speaker) “So what do I do?”
(The Stitcher) “I am merely the documentarian, it is not up for me to decide. If you want a suggestion: every injustice that has come before you has laid a brick in a wall that seems uncrossable. But if every person spent their lives weakening just one brick, that wall wouldn’t stand a chance.”
